I like to make LDraw virtual models of all my MOCs, for a number of reasons: so I can re-create the model if it is ever taken apart, and so I can share the design with others.
As an experiment I’m posting the LDRAW for this model on Flickr. I posted the PNG file rendered by MLCAD for my recent Gondola train car, and as a comment under that PNG I put the entire LDraw .MPD file.
However, I’m a little stuck as to what to do with these files. Should I post them online? If so where?

What do you think is the best way to make the LDraw files available?
I find the 2 best places (aside from a personal website) to post LDraw files are Brickshelf and Lugnet’s .cad tree.
Those are both valid places, but that’s so 1990’s. I mean, LUGNET has become nearly a ghost town these days, and I lost all faith in Brickshelf a long time ago….
